Our Aim

We exist to see children and families grow in their love and understanding of the greatness of God. Our aim is for children to prize God above all else. Each week, as we come in contact with the God of the Bible, we pray that children will clearly see God as the satisfier of their heart. We want to equip kids to know and worship Jesus in their lives, investigate and learn God's Word, depend on God's grace and strength and show Jesus to others in actions and words.

God-Centered Curriculum in Harvest Kids

This Sunday we start using two new curriculum series from Children Desiring God.
This curriculum comes from a passion for presenting the
truths of the Bible in a God-centered way. Each lesson is designed to
present the material in a way that displays the greatness and worth of
God.

For 4th & 5th graders we are going through a study called "My Purpose Will Stand."
In this particular study, we seek to give children a solid theological foundation so that
when the storms of life hit them, they will be prepared. If our children can understand
that nothing is outside the control of the all-powerful, all-loving God of the universe, and
that all things He brings into their lives is for their good, they may weather the storms of life
filled with faith.

For K-3rd graders we are exploring how God is "Faithful to All His Promises." In this series,
our aim is not just to teach children as many of the promises of God as possible, but rather
to teach children what it means to trust in the promises of God. The challenge in the Christian
life is not to know the promises of God, but to place unshakeable trust in God's promises.

Take Home Sheets Online

One of our purposes in Harvest Kids is to equip families to better investigate and learn God's Word. A way we try and accomplish this is through weekly take home sheets that we provide to every child. We've included those sheets on this site just in case the sheet gets lost on it's way home from church.
